Family policies

What families ask us before camp starts.

Photos of your child

We ask your written permission before we share any photo of your child, on this site, in newsletters or on social media, and you can change your answer at any time. We never put a child's name with a photo, and the photos on this site are examples until we replace them with our own.

What to wear and bring

Send clothes that can get paint, clay or glue on them, closed-toe shoes and a filled water bottle. Aprons are at the studio. Lunch comes in a cold pack, and everything carries your camper's first name. Phones and toys stay home.

Drop-off and pickup

An adult on your list signs your camper out at the studio door, and we ask for ID until we know you. Tell us ahead of time when someone new is coming. On Fridays, guests at the showcase still wait for sign-out before a camper leaves.

When to keep your child home

A camper with a fever, vomiting or a contagious illness stays home and returns after a full day of being well. If a camper feels ill at camp, we call you and a counselor stays with them until you arrive.

Meals, snacks and allergies

Families send lunch in a cold pack, and camp serves a morning and an afternoon snack. Tell us at registration about allergies, and we ask what we need privately. Paint and glue stay away from the lunch tables.

Closures for weather and holidays

On a very hot day we open the big doors, run fans and move our outdoor break inside. In a storm, everyone stays in the studio, and we text families before camp starts if the plan changes.

Screens and phones

Phones and tablets stay home. A camper who needs to reach you can use the studio phone, and we call you if we need you.
